What are Groups?
Groups are used to organize documents and to share them with different groups of people.
What are the different types of Groups?
There are two different types of group:
Public Group - Use Public Groups when you want all Owners and Members to have access to the documents in the group.
Public Groups are accessible to all Owners and Members.
Collaborators have access to Public groups that they are added to.
Private Group - Use Private Groups to limit who has access to documents.
Private Groups are accessible to Owners.
Members and Collaborators have access to Private groups that they are added to.
How can I create a new Group?
Who can use this feature? Owners and Members
On the Group list page, there is a button to create a new Group. After selecting the button, choose which type of group you want to create.
How can I manage the members of the Group?
Who can use this feature? Owners and Members
After going into the group, go to the Members tab to see the people in the group.
Are there limits on what I can upload?
Any type of file can be uploaded. Each file can be up to a maximum of 500MB and there is an overall limit of 1TB of storage per project.
Which types of files are viewable in the product?
We support viewing and annotating of
- .pdf files
- Microsoft Office files (.docx, .doc, .xlsx, .xls, and .pptx)
- Image files (.bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg)
- Adobe files (.ai, .psd)
- Saved emails (.eml, .msg)
- Autocad files (.dwg, .dxf)
- And a couple others (.csv, .txt, .rtf)
